A 30-degree-oak-plank media console

A 30-degree-oak-plank media console July 11, 2020 It’s been a while since my last encounter with woodworking. During Art College times I got addicted to bringing those plywood chair designs to life. Fun times. We’ve looked for a good TV console for some time. While we saw some beautiful work from local design shops like Furgner, we couldn’t really find the one. So… while cleaning the basement on one of those stay-at-home pandemic weekends, I looked at the pile of […]

Estonian National Museum / ERM

By Dan Dorell, Lina Ghotmeh, Tsuyoshi Tane Digital signage for exposition: Artec Design Just before Covid hit, I was asked by Artec to photograph the digital signage system they had developed and built for the Estonian National Museum. Naturally, I took the chance to also explore some of the exterior angles of this awesome piece of architecture, designed as an extension of the former military airfield in Tartu.

Rifdi & Aliyah – Gotland elopement vol. 2

After the intimate ceremony in the garden of the cosy Hotel Stelor we decided to explore the hidden gems that Gotland has plenty of. And it sure didn’t disappoint. Rifdi & Aliah – vol. 1

OK, so WE are inland people. And seeing the sea is a magical, even mystical, experience for us. It kinda lures us towards itself. That’s how little it took to make an afternoon like this happen, with tons of excitement. Of course, we were lucky enough to have Maria & Martin refer V & R to us, and the stable of Tooma (Tooma Tallid) as well. Triin & Robert – Wedding at Sagadi Manor

Two weeks ago, we witnessed a wedding most elegant, a couple most confident, a weather not the most encouraging for outdoor portraits, but a speech unlike any other we’ve heard. From Robert’s father Benediktas: “50 years ago I met a beautiful blonde Estonian girl. Now, 50 years later, my son is getting married – to a beautiful, blonde Estonian girl, of course.” Many congrats and thanks for having us there with you, Triin & Robert! The wedding team: Venue: Sagadi […]
