After a day in Legoland in Billund, filled with carousels, attractions and ice-cream with our gang of 5, including grandma, I take a 30-minute bus ride towards the eastern coast of Denmark, to Vejle. It was unbelievably warm for a workday evening in the end of august. This meant we could walk and talk and shoot happily until the very last rays of sunlight. Meet Mette & Flemming and their family of 4.
If I had to name the friendliest person from my usual daily corporate IT office environment, Sille is probably the one. If anyone manages to mess up, she’s like “It’s gonna be OK!”. That kind of we’re-here-to-celebrate-your-love attitude is what we felt that evening. But make no mistake, they didn’t leave anything to chance 😉 I mean Henri was all over the place alongside the decorator with the cordless drill like no one’s business. It starts in my toes, make me crinkle my nose Wherever it goes I always know That you make me smile, please, stay for a while now Just take your time wherever you go This is Colbie, singing “Bubbly”. These guys just made the world smile around them. Every second of their wedding – right up to their getaway on a tandem bike, straight off to the honeymoon. Wild and in love. No more words.

We’ve been friends with Kristi and Lauri for 10 years (well, Sigrid, for a little longer, but in our age who’s counting anyways!). It has been one hell of a decade to look back on, both in the lives of these two troopers as well as our own. We’re all married (finally :D)! We’ve grown into responsible adult status – some better than others! Our hair colour and interests have changed, but there are things that will hopefully stay the […]
We spent quite some time getting to Kökar, as mentioned in the previous post, and saw the Åland archipelago and its magnificence from a number of angles and Kökar stood out. It is one big pile of naked gray rock – no beach, bits of forest – but a lot of emotions. First, the winds that welcome you by blowing from different angles. Then the vistas – one seascape following another, not to mention the tiny little red boathouses that […]
