Vivian used to ride when she was a kid. And Rainer was up for it when we had lattes with them, discussing their plans for the wedding. That’s how little it took to make an afternoon like this happen, with tons of excitement. Of course, we were lucky enough to have Maria & Martin refer V & R to us, and the stable of Tooma (Tooma Tallid) as well. After a day in Legoland in Billund, filled with carousels, attractions and ice-cream with our gang of 5, including grandma, I take a 30-minute bus ride towards the eastern coast of Denmark, to Vejle. It was unbelievably warm for a workday evening in the end of august. This meant we could walk and talk and shoot happily until the very last rays of sunlight. Meet Mette & Flemming and their family of 4.
As it occasionally happens in this part of te world there are some summer evenings when you are left untouched by rain, or as some people like to call it, light showers. On one of those evenings our dedicated crew of two set out for a pre-wedding shoot. Having reached the designated spot we were met by a stunning view while a certain air of adventure a.k.a horse poop reminded us to watch our step. And then there were the […]
Meet 3 adventurous souls – Jenni, Toni and Muru, the pitbull. All looking fab and in love. We’ll be getting back to the Espoo seaside to shoot Jenni & Toni’s wedding at the beginning of August. Counting the days. Spring brings out the best in Nordic people. You know the feeling the first days of spring give you when you have to open the front of your jacket, not to get too warm. The sun makes everyone and enerything fresh, […]
I’m happy to say we NEARLY got lost on the twisting roads of Nuuksio, before we met Carly & Jussi. Nearly. They met at the London 2012 Olympics. Apparently there was an orchestra to mark the occasion – one member from each of the countries participating at the Games. Carly plays the French horn and Jussi is a percussionist. It’s obvious that Nuuksio is a place to go if rugged forest-filled terrain, lakes and pathways are what you are in […]
Possibly the last one of this year’s pre-wedding shoots – the one with Karo & Kimmo turned out to be definitely amongst the most adventurous. While we did have some indoor locations in mind, we decided to take a risk and have a go at Suomenlinna – the group of islands that spans 3km and is a 15-minute ferry trip away from downtown Helsinki. While Karo & Kimmo sure do have a kind of Nordic calmness to them, we got […]
