We spent a lång weekend (pun intended) this August with a couple that has an awesome army of friends, the greatest of families, and frightening sets of back muscles.
What made us remember the day (besides the tear-jerking speeches and the gorgeous couple) was the way Jenni made sure the evening was genuinely about celebration and relationships.
Having had a good look at the worn-out printed schedule I grab from the camera bag, I ask her “There’s no tossing of the bouquet?” She replies, with a slight confident smile – “Nope, no weddingy stuff!”
I notice myself raising my eyebrows, but in a moment realize this is exactly how it should be. This is who they are.
