I’m not very good at following through with personal photo projects, but my gut tells me this one is gonna be a tiny bit different.

Anyway, it’s a portrait series of people who make weddings happen: planners, dressmakers, cake bosses, venue owners. And the first in the series is the owner and founder of NYMF Fashion Studio in Tallinn, Triin Kärblane.

We're eagerly awaiting our little daughter. Sigrid thought that this belly had to be documented for the history books. So outside we went to take some portraits. That hedge of cinnamon roses seemed to suit the purpose well.

At Suomenlinna with Karo & Kimmo
Possibly the last one of this year's pre-wedding shoots - the one with Karo & Kimmo turned out to be definitely amongst the most adventurous. While we did have some indoor locations in mind, we decided to take a risk and have a go at Suomenlinna - the group of islands that spans 3km and is a 15-minute ferry trip away from downtown Helsinki. While Karo & Kimmo sure do have a kind of Nordic calmness to them, we got quite a few laughs and good shots from the session. We were lucky to have some mid-november snow, because if we didn't, the amount of available light at 4 pm would have been... well, non-existent. Which you can't say for the amo ...
