Rifdi & Aliyah – Gotland elopement vol. 2

After the intimate ceremony in the garden of the cosy Hotel Stelor we decided to explore the hidden gems that Gotland has plenty of. And it sure didn’t disappoint. Cheesy as it may sound, these two left us with some of the best memories ever. We felt thankful to a place like this – for bringing us together with these high school sweethearts from Singapore.

Rifdi & Aliah – vol. 1

OK, so WE are inland people. And seeing the sea is a magical, even mystical, experience for us. It kinda lures us towards itself. Like Sirens we hear the crash of waves and can’t help but go towards it. I just could go on and on about the sea… Rifdi and Aliah are from Singapore. But somehow with the help of Instagram and the stars being aligned just right, they found our dynamic duo and then some Skype calls later […]

Sille & Henri – wedding at Leigo

If I had to name the friendliest person from my usual daily corporate IT office environment, Sille is probably the one. If anyone manages to mess up, she’s like “It’s gonna be OK!”. That kind of we’re-here-to-celebrate-your-love attitude is what we felt that evening. Jenni & Toni – wedding at Långvik

We spent a lång weekend (pun intended) this August with a couple that has an awesome army of friends, the greatest of families, and frightening sets of back muscles. What made us remember the day (besides the tear-jerking speeches and the gorgeous couple) was the way Jenni made sure the evening was genuinely about celebration and relationships.Having had a good look at the worn-out printed schedule I grab from the camera bag, I ask her “There’s no tossing of the bouquet?” […]

Mikaela & Patrik – Wedding on Kökar, Åland – vol. 2

We spent quite some time getting to Kökar, as mentioned in the previous post, and saw the Åland archipelago and its magnificence from a number of angles and Kökar stood out. It is one big pile of naked gray rock – no beach, bits of forest – but a lot of emotions. First, the winds that welcome you by blowing from different angles. Then the vistas – one seascape following another, not to mention the tiny little red boathouses that […]

Mikaela & Patrik – Wedding on Kökar, Åland – vol. 1

[intro]If you don’t have a sailboat or a friend that owns one, it takes the better part of 2 days to get to Kökar from Estonia. It’s a 2,5h ferry ride away from the Finnish mainland, same from the main islands of Åland.[/intro] But it was totally worth it. If you are looking for cliff-lined vistas and hidden beaches, this is the place. This is part 1 of the story of Mikaela & Patrik. The island is where Patrik spent […]
