Engagement shoot at Keila-Joa with Karin & Peeter

A few weeks ago, when the golden hues of the maples had not turned brown yet, I had the chance to have an engagement photo shoot with a fun, cheerful and live-life-to-the-fullest type of couple. Because their engagement story involved no less than the Etna Volcano crater.
As I’m not really a native northern coast person, I offered a few locations beforehand. Keila-Joa was one of them, as I had briefly been there before for one of my interior photo shoots.

At Suomenlinna with Karo & Kimmo
Possibly the last one of this year's pre-wedding shoots - the one with Karo & Kimmo turned out to be definitely amongst the most adventurous. While we did have some indoor locations in mind, we decided to take a risk and have a go at Suomenlinna - the group of islands that spans 3km and is a 15-minute ferry trip away from downtown Helsinki. While Karo & Kimmo sure do have a kind of Nordic calmness to them, we got quite a few laughs and good shots from the session. We were lucky to have some mid-november snow, because if we didn't, the amount of available light at 4 pm would have been... well, non-existent. Which you can't say for the amo ...
